Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s new creative director, has taken the brand more street. Tisci was at the helm of Givenchy - taking it from the little black dress to the clothes on the backs of rappers. Now with Burberry, he is taking a traditional iconic British brand, and honing in on more “chav” than high class. In this bold move of course, everyone is going to want to wear Burberry.

Dossier did something crazy. We shot the new men’s jackets on an iPhone XS Max. We loved it. Having shot on all cameras, I was amazed by the iPhone’s ability, and the ease of shooting. I did not retouch these shots. It is the new dawn of photography.

Our model for this shoot is someone we know will change the face of fashion in SA. Pieter has now started a company which is producing Fashion TV content and African fashion experiences. We will keep an eye on him as he takes his fashion production company Noir&Klohn into Africa…
