The Four Seasons Seychelles, Mahé

The Four Seasons Seychelles, Mahé

If you can, stay two weeks. If you can’t, then stay a week. If you can’t do a week, then do a night… or do what we did… we went for lunch just to have the Four Seasons experience. If it is a Four Seasons, you know that the experience will be sublime.

Why stay here?

If you are looking for a discreet villa nestled on a hill, your own, your own pool, and beautiful romantic experiences which the staff will set up from beach breakfasts all the way to your own sunset cocktail experience, this is the perfect couples hide away.

If you have a family, there are different sized villas, all with its own pool. The kids get their own children’s pool at the kids club, so parents can have a few hours off to relax alone. There is even a junior spa on the property, and plenty activity related experiences.

What to expect for dining?

Choose from four bars or have your breakfast in your private villa - the offering of food experiences are so diverse.

Modern Creole and seafood dishes are available at the main pool at Kannel Resturant.

High on the hillside, Zez is an Asian Izakaya sharing menu served overlooking the ocean view.

At the Japenese restaurant KOI, you can watch the culinary team prepare sushi, tempura, signature roll platters with a view of the hills of Petit Anse as a backdrop.

Lunch at the Beachside grill Steak Shack with your feet in the sand on the beach as the chef prepares meat, seafood and veggie dishes in the Josper Charcoal Oven.

The Zez bar is an atmosperic space to have the first drink for the night, savouring your favourite cocktail as the sun sets after another blissful day.

The Kennel  Bar sits between the beach and main pool, serving comfort food, healthy bowls and cocktails. Whether you’re taking a break for refreshments, in between dips in the pool, or soaking in the sun on the lounge beds, this is the spot to re-energize.

You can even dine at night in your private villa.

What is there to do?

Well, you would want to do as little as possible but the spa offers a range of treatments and massages, a bath butler and a yoga pavilion. The resort also features a snorkelling and scuba-diving centre with marine educators, watersports including kayaking and fishing, a fitness centre, a library, a rock-climbing wall, jogging trails and sunset eco-golf.

“Kids for All Seasons” is a play area open to ages 4 to 12, offering supervised activities, a play area, beach toys and kids pool.

There is an expert “Tropicsurf” instructor to teach you to catch some waves, even teaching beginners. The resort will take surfers to beaches close by for the best waves.

Or stay at resort and explore the waters in the bay on a Stand-Up Paddleboard. A quick lesson from instructor and you will be on your way to head off to the azure sea. Kayaks, body boards, windsurfers and snorkling is all abailable.

Of course there are so many other little details, like the orange Four Season beach bag, the rolls of fresh towels waiting at every spot where you swim, incredible and friendly service. It is a Four Seasons! Perfection is synonymous with the name, after all.
