Master jeweller introduces a life changing range: QUANTUM
Emoto Masaru’s book The Hidden Messages in Water was a worldwide phenomenon and best seller when it launched in 1992. The Japanese author, scientist and businessman believed that human consciousness could change the molecular structure of water. His conjecture evolved over the years, and his early work revolved around hypotheses that water could react to positive thoughts and words and that polluted water could be cleaned through prayer and positive visualisation.
Emoto said that water was a "blueprint for our reality" and that emotional "energies" and "vibrations" could change its physical structure. His water crystal experiments consisted of exposing water in glasses to various words, pictures, or music, then freezing it and examining the ice crystals' aesthetic properties with microscopic photography. He claimed that water exposed to positive speech and thoughts created visually "pleasing" ice crystals, and that negative intentions yielded "ugly" ice formations.
Put simply, words spoken to water, turned the water in the most beautiful almost snowflake like structures under a microscope. Speak hateful things, the water turned murky and brown.
This concept started master jeweller Andreas Salver thinking. Salver has won many awards throughout his career, from Hong Kong to Anglo Ashanti Awards, wold wide. Salver trained under an Austrian master goldsmith until 1992 when he opened the doors to his shop and workshop where he has been creating magic ever since. He is renowned around the world for his workmanship, often creating pieces for other jewellers as well.
“Any jeweller can make a piece, but not many can make a piece that makes you feel something deep and meaningful,” he says.
The water experiments of Emoto was the first step in creating Salvers new works, QUANTUM.
Taking the water theme further, Salver has taken sacred geometry, and crafted into pieces only a master jeweller can. He engraves words on the back of the pieces, and believes that wearing that word, will make it manifest in the person’s life.
It is not a new concept, it is as ancient as the oldest prayers and mantras. What you think you will become, an ancient text from the Bible, to any ancient Asian texts and scripts.
In a time where we are anxious, tired, overworked, and stress is the norm, Salver wants us to wear a piece of art around our necks, close to our hearts that will affirm good things, and make beauty come to pass in our lives.
Salver has spent the past two years studying ancient geometry and the power of symbols, and that has made part of these beautiful “frontlets," pieces that can be worn, male or female on anything from rope to gold chains.
