Louis Vuitton : Sun Song

Louis Vuitton : Sun Song

Louis Vuitton invites us to discover the essence of the West Coast through its Cologne Perfumes collection, with Sun Song as its radiant star. Inspired by the atmosphere and contrasts of Los Angeles, the fragrance reflects a dreamlike vision of the city. Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud channels his impressions into a luminous composition, blending rare natural materials for a scent that feels like sunlight on the skin.

Sun Song opens with vibrant notes of orange blossom, expressed through neroli, absolute, and petitgrain. Lemon brings a fresh energy to the composition, while white musks add a soft, caressing undertone. It’s designed not just to evoke summer but to prolong its presence beyond the season itself.

The visual expression of the fragrance is just as evocative. Artist Alex Israel, known for his California-inspired aesthetics, reimagines Sun Song with a bottle and travel case that feature a sunny gradient from yellow to orange. The packaging draws from his artwork “Summer,” depicting an oversized sunglasses lens and capturing the glow of endless sunshine. The translucent plexiglass case, accented with Louis Vuitton’s signature Monogram, mirrors the radiance of sunlight filtered through tinted glass.
