Louis Vuitton's "Le Voyage des Lumières" Captures Holiday Magic Through Parisian Light

Louis Vuitton has launched its holiday campaign, "Le Voyage des Lumières" (The Journey of Lights), a visual narrative that connects the brand's travel heritage with seasonal celebration through imagery of Parisian sunsets, aurora borealis, and firelight.

Directed and photographed by Jonas Lindstroem, the campaign starts at the Asnières workshops—Louis Vuitton's original manufacturing site—where a Malle Courrier trunk releases a lantern that becomes the narrative's central motif. The lantern travels through Paris before reaching northern winter landscapes where the aurora lights up the sky.

The scenes progress from competitive backgammon games and campfire gatherings near a Kennel trunk to couples by frozen lakeshores, before returning to Paris. The finale takes place at Pont Neuf, where multiple lanterns fill the night sky above a mother and child watching the display.

The campaign showcases current Louis Vuitton products throughout: the black My Capucines handbag, red Speedy P9, Side Trunk, Monogram Speedy, Christopher backpack, Express Bag, and the Imagination and Attrape-Rêves fragrances. Also featured are pieces from the Color Blossom and Damier jewelry collections, along with the Music Trunk—a nod to the brand's luggage innovation history.

The campaign positions holiday travel and gathering as central themes, consistent with Louis Vuitton's 170-year focus on luxury travel goods and craftsmanship.
