Maison Grace: Cape Town’s First Curated Private Members’ Club
A new gathering place for globally minded individuals seeking cultural exchange, meaningful
connection and considered hospitality.
The V&A Waterfront welcomes Maison Grace, Cape Town's first truly bespoke private members' club, designed for the innovators, creatives and leaders shaping the city's next chapter.
As Cape Town emerges as a global hub for creativity and entrepreneurship, Maison Grace answers a
growing need for spaces where collaboration happens naturally, relationships deepen beyond the
introduction, and good ideas find the people to realise them. Through refined design, exceptional food
and beverage, and a carefully assembled membership, the club offers a place to eat, drink, meet and
connect.
A Philosophy Rooted in Belonging
"Maison Grace was born from a simple observation: that when people who share curiosity, creativity and
purpose come together in the right setting, something quietly extraordinary happens," says Samantha
Wallace, Development Director. "We felt Cape Town was ready for a space that prioritises cultural exchange over exclusivity, where members don't simply visit but genuinely belong, and where relationships extend far beyond the club's walls."
The membership brings together entrepreneurs, cultural leaders, conservationists, investors, creatives
and operators from across Africa and beyond who spend real time in the city.
A weekly calendar of gatherings, from dinners and tastings to expert-led talks, literary evenings and live
music, makes space where substance meets celebration. Intimate in scale and generously hosted, these
are evenings built for conversation and collaboration, where ideas find their feet.
Rooted in Cape Town, Globally Relevant
Maison Grace is deeply embedded in Cape Town's creative ecosystem, with founding partnerships
including Southern Guild Gallery and a growing network of South African artisans, winemakers and
designers whose work shapes both the space and its cultural programme.
The club is guided by a spirit of generosity and a sense of its place within the wider city. Through
collaborative programming, support for local enterprise, and partnerships with Cape Town's thought
leaders and changemakers, its influence is intended to reach well past the front door.
The food and beverage offering has been developed with Paris Society Consulting, the team behind
Parisian institutions LouLou, Gigi and Coco, balancing international polish with a strong sense of place.
The menu celebrates South African producers alongside global selections, while the interiors favour
warmth, intimacy and material richness.
A Legacy of Hospitality
Maison Grace is brought to life by Kasada, one of Africa's leading hospitality investment platforms and
custodians of the iconic Cape Grace, a Fairmont Managed Hotel. This heritage informs the club's
operational philosophy: meticulous attention to detail, genuine warmth and discretion.
For those drawn to Cape Town for longer stays and a deeper sense of place, Maison Grace offers more
than amenity. It offers belonging.
Membership remains intentionally limited and grows through personal introduction.
