CHANEL throws a party at Le Trianon for COCO MADEMOISELLE CRUSH ABSOLU

On September 17, CHANEL took over Le Trianon in Paris to celebrate COCO MADEMOISELLE CRUSH ABSOLU. The evening was the Parisian highlight of the fragrance's international launch and brought together nearly 750 guests around the COCO MADEMOISELLE spirit.

Who came

Friends of the House and artists filled the room, among them Gracie Abrams, Angèle, Honey Dijon, Bhavitha Mandava, Go Youn-Jung, Miu Natsha, Lena Lalina, Quenlin Blackwell, Lux Pascal, Jorja Smith, Guillaume Diop and Mackenyu.

First stop: the café

Guests didn't walk straight into a club. They first stepped into a café in the signature COCO MADEMOISELLE hue.

Chassol, known for his reimagined jazz and his skills as an improviser, opened the evening with a set the house described as suspended between poetry and groove. Around him, maîtres d'hôtel, bartenders, Crush Tellers and Elixir Masters invited guests into the fragrance's story through play and surprise.

Then the ballroom

When the ballroom doors opened, the party was already in full swing. Dancers and a line-up spanning disco, funk and electro kept the energy up.

Breakbot kicked things off with his remix of Candi Staton's "Young Hearts Run Free", the soundtrack to the Crush Absolu campaign. Then 30 dancers, led by Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, the campaign's choreographer, recreated the film's scene live.

The dancefloor takes over

Next, Honey Dijon, an essential figure on the house and disco scenes and a Friend of the House, took the decks for a back-to-back set with French DJ Chloé Caillet. On stage, an absolute crush of dancefloor experts came together.

American producer Alissia, a close collaborator of Anderson .Paak, closed the night with a set infused with funk and electro soul.

Lights up

At midnight, the lights came back on to a Paris in full celebration. But the crush, as CHANEL put it, was only just beginning.
