Lounge, Work, Play, Stay : Rockefeller Hotel, Cape Town
Two things about Cape Town. As one of the worlds most exciting travel destinations, there is no end in what you can do in the city, beach to wine lands to outdoor activities. Second thing, let’s be frank, the hotel offerings are more geared for… a bit more of a mature traveler. That is why the Rockefeller Hotel in Cape offers a unique experience for travelers seeking a space that is more of a vibe, like they say in TikTok world.
Situated in the heart of the city, the hotel provides easy access to Cape Town's bustling urban scene, while still being a good base for the other plethora of activities the city has to offer.
The hotel's contemporary design and lively atmosphere cater to the tastes of adventurous travelers, providing a dynamic backdrop for exploration and discovery. Not to mention, a short Uber away from the night-time attractions.
Whether guests are looking to explore the city's iconic landmarks, relax on beautiful beaches, or experience the local arts and entertainment scene, Rockefeller Hotel serves as the perfect home base for their Cape Town adventure.
What to expect: Expansive dining area for all day fare such as Pizzas, Sushi, fresh Fish, Steaks. I had the grilled fish and it was delicious. Great food if you are hungry. Portions are healthy. It is very busy at breakfast time, but the buffet has everything on offer.
Enter the roof top pool area through a cool graffitti space and enjoy cocktails in a conversations pit, at the pool or with a view over the city. The rooftop pool is quiet in the day, so it’s a nice place to recharge, drink in hand.
Rooms are spacious, contemporary, all luxury elements are catered for. Kitchenette space is very helpful for longer stays.
There are also four boardrooms available for meetings with space for up to 150 delegates.
Location is key - the hotel is in the centre of Cape Town Citybowl, close to the business hub as well as the convention centre, V & A Waterfront and Stadium.
