THE PANTHÈRE DE CARTIER COLLECTION
The emblematic panther has embodied Cartier’s creation ever since its first appearance on a watch with panther spots in 1914. The panther graduated from abstract to figurative representation three years later when it was depicted flanked by cypress trees on a nécessaire gifted by Louis Cartier to Jeanne Toussaint in 1917.
