Cartier Women's Pavilion Dubai
Cartier has launched its Women’s Pavilion in Dubai, which reaffirmed their commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment by unveiling creative content that celebrate female change-makers around the globe. The exhibition titled “New Perspectives” Cartier pursues their goal which they started in 2006, to help women run and own businesses and take them out of vulnerable situations, knowing that the impact that will have, will change the world.
Cartier CEO Cyrille Vigneron collaborated with the UAE’s Minister of State for International Cooperation, Reem Al Hashimy, to hold this Expo from October 2021 to March 2022.
“At Cartier, women have always held a pivotal role, as a driving force and an endless source of inspiration,” said Vigneron. Adding, “as the presence of the luxury watch and jewelry maker has 60% of their clientele and staff are women. At Cartier, women are the change agents and force of good for society”.
"New Perspectives", the Women’s Pavilion will invite visitors to recognise the central role women, known and unknown, have played throughout history, leading up to the present. Celebrating the significant – and often forgotten – contributions of women, the pavilion will demonstrate an important principle : when women thrive, all of humanity thrives”, the brand declared.
The Women’s Pavilion features five structures with different narratives located on the ground floor:
Introduction
Expressing the purpose of the pavilion.
Achievements
Shining a light on women’s impact on the world. Challenges and acknowledging what is holding women back.
Solutions
Highlighting the initiatives enabling women to thrive so humanity can thrive; and engaging with visitors encouraging visitors to become champions of gender equality and women’s empowerment and take the journey forward.
