BVLGARI COLORS

 A NEW CHROMATIC EXPLORATION

This June, Bvlgari unveils a new expression of its chromatic vision, where color becomes energy, magnified by the warm glow of gold. At the heart of this launch, two new Doppio Baccellato rings emerge as sculptural statements, seamlessly entering a broader dialogue with three Bvlgari Tubogas bracelets designed to complete the set alongside the three necklaces first introduced in 2024 — each piece part of a vibrant, orchestrated flow of color and form.

For Bvlgari, color is an emotional language at the core of its DNA. Since the 1950s, the Maison has redefined the codes of jewelry, breaking away from the tradition of pairing a single colored stone with diamonds to embrace an audacious vision of unexpected combinations where creative freedom meets an innate sense of balance. This instinct has become a defining code, an expression of Bvlgari’s Italian identity and of a joyful art of savoring life and beauty in all their facets. An enduring vision that continues to evolve through a constant exploration of new chromatic synergies. Curated cuts, bold volumes, and audacious combinations transform gemstones into living matter, releasing the full vibrancy of their hues in a captivating, luminous rhythm.

The new Doppio Baccellato rings stand at the center of this narrative. Their defining feature, the baccellatura (ribbed detailing), reveals a gesture that is both ancient and strikingly contemporary. Borrowed from classical Greek and Roman architecture, this technique crossed the ages and in times of eclectic flourishing interpretation melt in the language of Decorative Arts. Here it found its way sculpting gold into soft, ribbed reliefs, shaping volume with a sense of cadence and depth. It is not merely ornament, but an act of carving light itself. Here, both yellow and pink 18 carat gold breathes, catching reflections, releasing them, and setting them in motion across the hand.

This sculptural dynamism is heightened by the presence of cabochon-cut gemstones, whose smooth, rounded surfaces intensify color into a velvety, almost tactile presence. Whether in the vibrant pairing of citrine and blue topaz or the refined harmony of amethyst and peridot, each composition radiates a poised vitality and creative daring. The double structure with two elements in perfect balance, introduces a sense of rhythm, as if the ring itself were unfolding in time, echoing Bvlgari’s enduring fascination with movement.

In conversation with these soft, pulsating forms, the Bvlgari Tubogas bracelets introduce a contrasting architectural clarity. Their triangular geometry is precise, almost incisive, defined by structured volumes and sharpened lines that bring a contemporary tension to the composition and highlight the versatility of its craftsmanship. Yet, beneath this apparent rigor lies fluidity: the tubogas technique, one of Bvlgari’s most emblematic, coils gold into seamless, flexible forms, merging strength with suppleness. Its avant-garde allure and metallic sheen intertwine with the intense hues of rubellite, tanzanite and green tourmaline, creating a striking yet perfectly balanced aesthetic.

Between the rounded harmony of Doppio Baccellato and the graphic boldness of Bvlgari Tubogas, a dialogue unfolds. Curves respond to angles, softness meets structure, and color flows through both with equal intensity. It is a conversation of opposites, resolved in joyful harmony.

With these new interpretations, Bvlgari’s chromatic mastery is brilliantly reimagined. Ancient techniques find new breath, color becomes architecture, and each creation stands as a testament to a vision where artistry and innovation are once again inseparable. An elegance that is not only seen, but felt alive with light, movement, and unmistakable identity.
