MOTHER OPENS ITS FIRST-EVER FLAGSHIP IN BEVERLY HILLS

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (August 2026) — For the last 15 years, MOTHER has built a  world filled with troublemakers, outsiders and the occasional disco ball. This August, for  the first time ever, that world gets an address.

Located at 351 N. Canon Drive in Beverly Hills, MOTHER's first standalone flagship,  nicknamed “The Big Boy,” is less a store and more a place to wander, linger and see  what happens. Part California living room, part glamorous clubhouse, part cabinet of  curiosities, the 3,850-square-foot space brings the brand's irreverent spirit to life through

fashion, culture and community.

Co-Founder and Creative Director Tim Kaeding describes the experience as "feeling like  you've stepped into the kind of house you would have wanted to hang out in during your  childhood."

Drawing inspiration from the free-spirited creative culture of the era, the store balances  the warmth and softness of a California home with the glamour, energy and after-dark  mystique of old New York. Soft curves replace straight lines. One room leads  unexpectedly into another.

"The store twists and turns," said Kaeding. "We wanted it to feel like a constant  discovery. Like you're wandering through a place where somebody interesting lives."

At the heart of the flagship is a dramatic conversation pit designed as the social center  of the space, a place to gather, connect and stay awhile. Adjacent to the conversation  pit, the MOTHER café will serve coffee, matcha and tea loaves inspired by European  rest stops, offering another reason to stay a while. There's plenty more to discover,  including boudoir-inspired fitting rooms wrapped in soft pink tones, a rotating Cabinet of  Curiosities filled with artifacts and inspirations pulled from MOTHER's creative universe,  custom embroidery services and exclusive merchandise available only at the Beverly  Hills flagship.

The store will debut alongside MOTHER's Fall 2026 collection and feature the brand's  complete assortment across denim, ready-to-wear, outerwear, knits and accessories,  alongside limited-edition products and seasonal exclusives available only in Beverly  Hills.

The opening marks a significant milestone for the Los Angeles-born brand, whose roots  remain deeply tied to the city. More than 90 percent of MOTHER's manufacturing takes  place in Los Angeles, and the flagship represents a meaningful investment in the  community that has shaped the brand since its founding.

The opening also comes nearly two years after MOTHER's first retail project in Pacific  Palisades was lost in the California wildfires just days before it was scheduled to open.

"We had so many ideas we weren't ready to let go of," said Becker. "We wanted a place  where our community could come together, hang out and experience the brand beyond  the product. We've always believed in creating spaces where people can connect with  the brand and with each other in meaningful ways. Beverly Hills felt like the perfect  place to make that happen."

To celebrate the opening, MOTHER will host a rotating series of weekend happenings,  community gatherings and delightfully unexpected distractions throughout its first  month, turning The Big Boy into a living extension of the brand's creative universe.

"We've always been storytellers first," Becker added. "This is the first time we've been  able to invite people inside the story."

MOTHER Beverly Hills opens August 2026 at 351 N. Canon Drive, Beverly Hills,  California.

ABOUT MOTHER

MOTHER evokes the memories and experiences of growing up in California in the '70:  what you were wearing, what you were doing and who you were getting into trouble  with. Founded in 2010 by Lela Becker and Tim Kaeding, MOTHER's first collection of  vintage-inspired jeans disrupted the denim landscape, previously a sea of black  skinnies, and created an entirely new space in denim. MOTHER has since grown into a  global brand expanding across denim, sportswear, outerwear and accessories. With a  focus on locally made, 94% of their denim and over 90% of their overall manufacturing  is made in Los Angeles with fine imported materials. MOTHER loves you.
