Qatar Airways Partners with Yannick Alléno
Qatar Airways x Yannick Alléno: A New Altitude in Fine Dining
Qatar Airways has never been shy about setting the bar high—but its latest move takes luxury to stratospheric levels. In a landmark partnership, the airline has teamed up with Chef Yannick Alléno, the French culinary virtuoso behind 17 MICHELIN stars, to reimagine the inflight and lounge dining experience for First and Business Class passengers.
This isn’t just about better food at 35,000 feet—it’s about curating a journey through taste, where every dish is a story, every ingredient a character, and every bite a moment of refined indulgence.
The collaboration introduces bespoke menus that blend French finesse with global inspiration, debuting on select flights between Paris and Doha, and extending to Qatar Airways’ most exclusive lounges. At the heart of this partnership is the opening of a Pavyllon restaurant—Chef Alléno’s signature “gastronomic counter” concept—inside the First Class Lounge at Hamad International Airport, where guests can dine at the counter and watch the culinary theatre unfold.
Passengers flying through Paris-Charles de Gaulle will also enjoy exclusive Alléno creations in the Qatar Airways lounge, while onboard menus will showcase his signature approach: ingredient-driven, technique-forward, and deeply rooted in the art of fermentation and modern French cuisine.
For Qatar Airways, this is more than a culinary upgrade—it’s a reaffirmation of its commitment to elevated, multi-sensory travel. And for Chef Alléno, it’s a chance to bring his philosophy of l’art de vivre to a global audience in motion.
Together, they’re not just serving meals—they’re crafting timeless moments at altitude.
About Yannick Alléno and His Group
Yannick Alléno is one of the greatest French chefs. In 2008, he founded the Group that bears his name to unite his vision across 19 establishments holding a total of 17 Michelin stars. He has laid the foundations of a distinctive culinary identity: Modern Cuisine. Inspired by Auguste Escoffier, Alléno has revived the art of sauces, using cutting-edge techniques such as extraction, fermentation, and cryo-concentration to honor the essence of each ingredient.
In 2014, he took over the concession of the Pavillon Ledoyen in Paris, where he launched three restaurant concepts:
● The three-star gastronomic restaurant Alléno Paris, which features a unique “Table Concierge” service,
● The two-star sushi counter L’Abysse,
● And the one-star relaxed gastronomic counter Pavyllon.
Pavyllon also has locations in several international capitals including Paris, London, and Monte Carlo. Today, Pavillon Ledoyen is the most Michelin-starred independent establishment in the world. The Yannick Alléno Group champions a “quaternary” approach: nurturing talent, reinventing the codes of fine dining and service, and delivering extraordinary culinary experiences that leave a lasting mark on each guest.
