Over the last five years Adrian has been renovating an old Karoo heritage house, barn and studio suites into a Proudly South African designed village guest home and concept house. Today, De Kleine Prince stands as one of the most beautiful contemporary home and lifestyle visions on the continent, including six outdoor verandas and stoeps, set up with lounges, dining and entertainment areas, private work areas, as well as a meditation tree house complimented with indigenous medicinal gardens. It is the perfect showroom space for advertising photoshoots, filming brand videos and hosting small bespoke multi-functional events.
De Kleine Prince is the quintessential contemporary Karoo retreat space and a must see tourist destination for the sophisticated jet setter and global citizen. Designed with light and distilled with grace, De Kleine Prince offers a lasting memory attuned to a sustainable environment.
The boutique estate is more than just a luxury Karoo getaway; the homestead presents as the ideal content house and showroom made to create tailor-made magical moments. De Kleine Prince is an African nouveau design space with conceptual furniture and art installations with the purpose of delivering design thinking principles of space and function. Representing and introducing the best of local Cape Karoo and Proudly South African designs from all over Africa to international guests, the venue serves as an inspirational experiential tourism space showcasing the best of South African creative talent.

Rosheen Krigler from Danielskraalfarm, a destination B&B for those in the “know” came to see the newly renovated home and was suitably impressed. We get the idea she is not easily impressed. Her nod of approval is not to be taken lightly, she is well known in business circles and now for her own destination location.
Adrian ran a shop in Parkhurst for many years, keeping the most special of his items, knowing one day it will would be useful. And how it has!
Adrian took special interest in the main bathroom as he wanted the feel an outdoor forest experience in the middle go the Karoo. Majestic trees are placed in a bathroom area, a magical twist.
One of our the rooms available is the library room, colour coded books almost as if it is a wallpaper. We loved it so much we photographed the clothing of Maxhosa in the room. Another incredible South African fashion success!

The separate cottage with two rooms will be fitted to be a complete music recording studio. it has its own outside seated area, for writing or just meditating in deep thought. The pool is just in front of the cottage and the water trickling adds to further deep inward reflection.
