We are very excited about the opening of this store in Cape Town. AAFRICAA (pronounced ‘Africa’) is the go-to emporium for curated contemporary African design, offering a dynamic retail platform for the continent’s leading contemporary brands and designers. With an emphasis on crafted and artisanal luxury, AAFRICAA is a place where great in-house collections, ever-evolving exhibitions, and new collaborations will continually be explored in celebration of the creative energy of our magnificent continent.

Overlooking the water, with spectacular views of Table Mountain, AAFRICAA is located in the new-look Alfred Mall, in the unique heritage district of Cape Town’s popular V&A Waterfront neighbourhood. The building is home to the Victoria & Alfred Hotel and award-winning Ginja restaurant, and with this new development the V&A Waterfront have now added our flagship AAFRICAA store as anchor tenant, together with an exciting mix of handpicked lifestyle brands.

Alfred Mall is located next to the V&A Food Market and a short distance from The Watershed. A minute’s walk from Victoria Wharf Shopping Centre, it can be accessed via North Quay, Alfred Basin, or the newly pedestrianised Alfred Square.
