Tom Ford Fall/Winter 2026: Seduction as Identity

Tom Ford’s fall‑winter 2026 campaign proves that getting dressed can double as a personality test. Creative director Haider Ackermann continues his exploration of seduction, casting Liu Wen, Aluel Makuach, and Malick Bodian as characters whose stance, gaze, and wardrobe become narrative cues.

Photographer Stuart Winecoff shoots against a clinical white backdrop under hard, unforgiving light. Stripped of distraction, the focus lands squarely on age, attitude, and body language. The clothes carry that same tension: a sculptural white sleeveless piece with oversized pointed collar and long tie‑like panels, cut with Ford’s precise tailoring, becomes a study in restraint and provocation.

Tailoring as Narrative

Ackermann threads tailoring through the entire story. Makuach and Bodian share the frame in sharp suiting — his clearest statement yet on how fashion can own the frame. Elsewhere, a pale blue pinstripe layer collides with an animal‑print collar and dark tie, pulling classic menswear into more provocative territory. Sheer black stockings and a pointed stiletto slice through the composition, underscoring the campaign’s tension between discipline and desire.

This campaign is not about clothes alone — it is about identity performed through dress. Each model becomes a character, each outfit a psychological cue. Ackermann’s Tom Ford is less about adornment than about confrontation: how tailoring, light, and body language can expose personality as much as they conceal it.
